Angels
Angels are the warriors of light, paragons of good, and the eternal enemies of demons. On the astral plane, unseen to all outside of it, an eternal war rages on between both angel and demon. Angels are typically embodiment of good traits such as honor, sacrifice, and exaltation. However, their personalities may shift as they acclimate to their host, not used to the complexities of human emotion and experience. They may wrestle with more negative feelings that conflict with their own ingrained ones. In their true form, angels have a very human-like appearance, except they possess wings and most times glowing eyes. Their colors are usually light ones.

In order for an angel to remain in this plane, they must take a host. The host is a body whose soul is kicked to the astral plane so they can gain full control of it. The Angel will then gain not only the body, but also the thoughts and memories of the host in order to seamlessly integrate into the society around them. Because of their human body, they are not as strong as they were in the astral plane- their energy is limited to the life force of the body. If the angel uses up the life force of their body (energy) it can lead to death.
Angel Hierarchy
Seraphs
Seraphs are the highest ranking angel. There's only 7 seraph total, and each seraph had a hand in the creation of the world. They're the oldest of creatures and the only ones that have direct contact with God. They delegate jobs and are the generals in the infinite war against Demons. They're powers are the strongest in the astral plane when it comes to Angels, but in the mortal world, they all hold the same strength as there is no infinite pool of energy to gather and use.
Archangel
Archangels are among the most common of angels in the mortal world. They're known for their great fortitude and understanding of the mortals and the world that they inhabit. In the mortal world, they have a reputation for working miracles and assisting those in need. They're also historically known as the messengers of Gods, sending humans messages from the divine plane in order to guide them along in a certain task or quest.
Cherubs
The second highest in the Angel ranks, the Cherub are known as protectors of Heaven, their job being to guard the sacred places so that demons are not able to enter. It is seldom that a cherub ends up in the human world, but when they do, it's normally to safeguard something of utmost importance to God. Cherubs are normally very strong physically and keep an animal familiar with them to aid them in their task.
Angels
The lowest rank of angels are, well, the angels. These are created in order to serve as soldiers in the war against Demons. Mortals deemed virtuous enough are sometimes invited to ascend to this rank rather than be ghosts after death, though that means having to dedicate their afterlife to the service of God. Many souls looking for redemption and a second chance often take this route as it's seemed more meaningful than just aimlessly wondering the abyss.
Thrones
The third highest in rank, Thrones angels are known for their wonderful minds. They contemplate God's will on a regular basis, and with their strong intellect, they work to understand that knowledge and figure out how to apply it in practical ways. In the process, they acquire great wisdom. They're known to visit mortals to enlighten them with divine knowledge on certain topics in order to utilize human kind in the war against Demons.
Fallen Angels
Angels that have been deserted by God. These angels have their wings destroyed and their connection to the light taken from them, leaving them with the mark of a traitor. These angels tend to run to the mortal world to hide their shame and escape their torment.

Note: These angels have none of the magical abilities for the race.
Strengths and Weaknesses
-
Phasing: The possessed are able to phase between their human shell and their true form. When they leave the host shell, it collapses where it is and will not reanimate until the possessed comes to reinahbit it. Failure to reinhabit after 24 hours will result in banishment to the astral plane. In their true form, they cannot pull strongly from the astral plane and can only cast weakened versions of their magic.

-
Planar Communication: The possessed may communicate with the other plane to acquire basic and vague information. However, this ability cannot be used to metagame and OOC consent must be acquired if there are plans to use it against another player.

-
Telekinesis: While in this plane, the possessed can use up their energy in order to move and manipulate small objects around. The heavier the object is, the more it'll wear down the possessed. If they manipulate things for too long (no more than 3 things through the RP) the possessed will find themselves cast off from the plane, and the host proceeds to die. It's for this reason that the possessed are very careful with what they manipulate, and when, and how. (Objects can not be more than 10 lbs. Each post will count as a different hold).

-
Able to wield Light Magic.

-
Blessed Items: Angels are able to bless items to make them more effective against or even kill other supernaturals. The process of blessing an item takes a lot of energy from the angel and is a long, drawn out process. Once completed, an angel can be left in a very vulnerable state for a few days before they recover fully.
-
Anchored: The possessed can only exist in this world for as long as they are anchored to their human shell. If they leave it for too long or if it dies, they will be banished back with little to no chance of returning. There are ways to claim new hosts, but it is a very long, complicated process. While anchored to this plane, the possessed are non corporal. This means that they're not able to interact with things around them like other humans would.

-
Weakened Abilities: While on this plane, a possessed cannot draw from the sources they normally would back on the astral plane. So when they are in their true forms, they cannot act in full power as they do there. That is not to say they are weak, for the possessed are very much at the same level as other supernaturals. However, their power is a mere fraction of what it is on their home plane.

-
Fragile Host: While capable of magic in their human shell, their host is ultimately nothing more than human. This fragility leads many possessed to be super protective and cautious when it comes to their host bodies. Many will actually plan to be in their true form for most conflict to avoid endangering their anchor to this world.

-
Non Corporal: While in this plane, the possessed are non corporal. This is why they need a host to exist. They are not able to interact with anything around them but magic outside of their host.

-
The death of a host expels the entity from the body immediately, regardless of natural or supernatural causes (yes, illnesses and old age can kill the body even if it's possessed). If this happens and the entity wishes to remain in the mortal realm, in the expand of 2 hours (rp time, not real life), they must find new host body that "willingly" gives itself up, and a necromancer to perform the soul switch. The soul of the other body would then be sent to the astral plane instead of that of the entity, thus prolonging the stay of the entity in this plane.

-
Dark Magic and Damned Items: Items that have been damned, have strong sense of faith on Satan and corruption behind them or are embedded with dark magic, or even dark magic itself can seriously harm an angel. If their host has been damned, they will find themselves rejected by the host body and forced to either find a way into a new host, or be expelled back to heaven. Sustaining serious injury from dark magic or damned items to their true form will kill the angel. It is the only way to actually kill an angel.
